WESTLAKE, OH - February 22, 2016 – TRG, the leading hardware solutions provider in the mobile computing and barcode printing industry, today announced the opening of TRG Canada.
The new Scarborough, Ontario operation offers TRG’s suite of mobility solutions including staging, configuration, and deployment of barcode scanners and mobile computers. TRG’s core business is buying, selling and repairing automatic identification and data capture equipment.
TRG President Sean Kennedy believes the Canadian market offers a wealth of new growth opportunities. “We’ve had partnerships with distributors in Canada to facilitate our services before, but communication issues and processing equipment across borders has been a barrier,” Kennedy says. “Our new operation will alleviate all of these issues and create a better service experience overall.”
“TRG Canada is a massive development for our business and the TRG brand,” Vice President of Operations Nick Young says. “This new facility will create avenues for new business, expand our support reach, and streamline operations with current customers who are also located in Canada. I’m very happy we are able to offer our services to the North American market.”
TRG Canada’s launch comes at a time when the American headquarters has seen tremendous growth. TRG has hired 41 new employees last year and plans to hire 100 more by the end of the year.
