Co zrobiliśmy
The TRG UEM team began with a simple question: how are your devices being managed today?
The answer quickly revealed a gap - there was no consistent, scalable approach in place.
From there, we developed a structured program to address immediate challenges while building a standardized, scalable foundation for device management, rolling it out one warehouse at a time.
Solving Device Identity.
Using SOTI as the backbone, our UEM built a system that maintains each device’s unique WMS identifier through the repair cycle. Now, when a device comes back from service and powers on, it automatically grabs its ID, identifies itself to the warehouse management system and pulls down its profile and settings. No manual re-entry. No idle time. The device is ready to work as soon as it’s back in a worker’s hands. The time savings here pretty much speak for themselves.
Building Golden Images.
The client runs multiple models of Zebra handheld scanners across their warehouses, and we built a complete golden image for each model. These preconfigured device profiles can be deployed by scanning a single barcode. Just pick up a device, scan the code and the scanner is configured with the right settings, the right apps and the right look and feel for its specific role. Deployments that used to take hours of manual IT configuration now take minutes.
Delivering Real Visibility.
For the first time in a long time, this client is building an accurate picture of what they actually have. As devices are enrolled into SOTI across each site, they gain more and more visibility into device counts, device health, software versions and location — the kind of basic fleet intelligence that are becoming table stakes for modern players in the T&L space.
